Sparc

An activity based meetup app for college students.

My Story

In my first month of college, I often craved casual and fun opportunities to meet new people, but existing apps didn't quite fulfill that need. I aspired to create a more relaxed and less awkward platform specifically designed for college students like me.

The Idea

I created an app that allows college students to meet and engage in activities of their choice, connecting with peers from their own campus.

How do people invite others to a party?
How do you attract other spike ball players to play?

It's 2024, the answer should not be "word of mouth"...

WHO

College students who are looking to branch out while doing activities they love. Also, college organizations that are aiming to increase their campus visibility.

WHY

Technology has made it difficult for college students to make new friends, as it has hindered face-to-face interactions.

WHAT

The app will enable students to participate in or initaite activity-based meetups alongside their fellow college students.
